Yes, Tenderflame products produce real, tangible heat. The amount of heat depends on the model and flame size. Smaller models are mainly designed for atmosphere, while larger table and freestanding models can genuinely help warm the surrounding area, indoors and outdoors.
What does Tenderflame burn on?
Tenderflame burns on Tenderfuel, a specially developed safe fuel. Tenderfuel only ignites in combination with the patented stainless-steel wick. This means Tenderfuel is non-explosive, burns cleanly, and is significantly safer than traditional bioethanol or methylated spirits.
Is a Tenderflame fireplace easy to mount?
Yes, wall-mounted Tenderflame models are easy to install. The fireplaces come with a clear mounting system and can be securely attached to the wall with standard mounting materials. With basic tools, installation is usually quick and straightforward.
Can I use Tenderflame safely and cleanly indoors?
Yes, Tenderflame is safe and clean to use indoors. Combined with Tenderfuel and the patented wick, the flame produces hardly any smoke, soot, or odour.
No chimney, flue, or extraction duct is needed. As with any open flame, we recommend normal room ventilation.
